County of Summit ADM Board

Nicholas Baechel, M.A. is the Quality Improvement Coordinator for the County of Summit Alcohol, Drug Addiction, & Mental Health Services (ADM) Board.  He is responsible for developing reporting requirements and analyzing outcome data from the ADM Board’s contracted providers and other ADM initiatives.  His goal is to present this information in an easily understandable format to allow leadership at the ADM Board to make data driven decisions.   He has 16 years of experience in behavioral health at the state, provider, and county level. He has a Bachelor of Arts in history and Master of Arts in history from the University of Akron.  He is the author of Relief Agency, Hegemon, or Failure?: An Evaluation of the IMF as Crisis Manager.  He resides in Akron with his wife Michelle.Aimee R. Wade serves as Executive Director and Nicholas Baechel is the Research & Quality Improvement Coordinator. 

Amy Woodland is a former writing professor with an emphasis in professional, technical, and media writing. Using these skills to transition into the non-profit sector, she continued her professional career in development while continuing to freelance as a technical editor, magazine writer, small business marketer, and occasional photographer. Amy holds a B.A. from James Madison University and an M.A. from the University of West Florida. She currently serves as the Manager of Communications for the County of Summit Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health (ADM) Board.

The County of Summit ADM Board is responsible for planning, funding, monitoring, and evaluating treatment, prevention, and support services for people who experience Substance Use Disorder and/or Mental Health Disorder. The ADM Board does not provide direct services, but it contracts with local agencies to provide quality, affordable services for people at critical times in their lives.

The ADM Board system of services provides opportunities for recovery and hope for a better life.
