Jr. Achievement of North Central Ohio
I joined Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio in September 2022 as a Program Manager. I am originally from the Cleveland area, but I now reside in the carnation city of Alliance, Ohio. I earned my B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Mount Union and later received my M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Personnel from Kent State University. I have primarily worked with traditional aged college and high school students as an advisor or mentor, with the focus on student development and leadership through experiential learning. When not working with students, I developed and built engaged alumni networks.
In my free time I like to garden, watch scary movies, and I teach a cardio class called Tabata Bootcamp. Staying active is my choice for self-care, but I also love a good power nap.
My favorite…
• Part of my job: Community engagement and building partnerships
• Quote: “The difference between having a good day and a bad day, is a choice.“ - Unknown
• Meal: It’s a tie between chicken & waffles and pizza.
• Ohio tradition or locale: Bonfire with friends
• Piece of advice: You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. So, do not be afraid to go after what you want in life.
Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio provides several ways that you can get involved whether you’re someone looking to volunteer, part of a district or school looking for educational materials, or part of a business looking to help us expand the reach of our mission.
