Owner, Schooley Mitchell & President RC of Port Summit
Fred Carter is currently serving as the President of the Port-Summit Rotary Club.  He is also the owner of the Schooley Mitchell location serving Northeast Ohio.   His background includes 25 years of consulting to local company owners as well as the c-suites of multinational companies (Ford, Mittal, Cleveland Clinic).  He can trace his start with non-profits and service organizations back more than 35 years, when he got his start volunteering at camps for the developmentally disabled and contributing labor towards cleanup projects along the Cuyahoga River.

Fred is actively looking for organizations that want to see their revenue used less for commoditized services and more towards serving meaningful goals.  A recent project he will highlight is one that identified $200,000 in excess spending with a Cuyahoga Falls company: nearly $100,000 will go back to their bottom line and another $10,000 will fund a Summit County Lions Club’s efforts serving the sight impaired.  Programs like this one can be repeated by organizations serving virtually any non-profit or for-profit purpose.
