The 9th Annual Charity Cornhole Tournament benefitting Akron Rotary Camp was held this past Saturday in the Huntington Club Level of Akron U’s InfoCision Stadium.  Six teams in the Ringers Division and thirty teams in the Recreational Division all competed for bragging rights, while having fun! Congratulations to all the teams that placed and to ‘Hole in my Corn-ea’ (Jaime and Scott Kolligian) and ‘TNC 2’ (Jeff Beattie and Drew Thomas) that won 1st place in their divisions.

Rotarian Marcia Holcomb with her two granddaughters also competed. Although they didn’t place, they won the most creative team name as ‘The Jelly Bean Baggers.’  More than $11,600 were raised for Akron Rotary Camp and we are grateful to all the sponsors, volunteers and organizers for their continued support.

Special shout-out to Scott Kolligian and Dr. Doug Hausknecht for making sure the event was running smoothly and securing all the volunteers.

We are looking forward to continue this event in years to come!
