Summer camp is completed, and there were countless families whose lives were touched this summer through the efforts of Dan and his team. And speaking of camp, make sure to mark your calendars for our Camp’s fundraiser “Akron Rotary Club Regatta – a Celebration and Fundraiser” on September 28^th.  The event will be held at the Camp and it will be a wonderful evening of good food and cocktails, boat rides, entertainment and an auction.  We’ll cap off the evening  with fireworks over the lake.   Please get the word out to every Rotarian in the area so they can see how wonderful the Camp looks.

Our outbound exchange student Sydney will be experiencing France while Nam, our inbound student, has arrived from Korea. Please set aside time to include Nam in your plans this year as we show him what Akron and Akron Rotary is all about. Our club is the poster child for membership, so please continue showing off our club to your friends, as we continue to grow membership. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
