Chili Open and SNOWMANIA!

As the leaves fall and the weather gets colder we are getting more excited for our Chili Open that will take place at Hale Farm on February 1st!  Our team has been hard at work over the past few months to ensure a record year!  We are looking to raise $200,000 this year and to do that we will need a huge team effort!  The raffle tickets are available and have already started to sell!  There will be several ways to get these over the coming weeks.  

 
We will bring them to the weekly meeting on Tuesday, they will be available to purchase on the website www.chiliopen.net, and we will be mailing each Rotarian 10 tickets!  Our good friend and fellow Rotarian Steve Shechter has introduced a new concept to help us sell more tickets before the day of the event which Jim Redmond has affectionately named SNOWMANIA!!  When 5 tickets are purchased at once before our  January 17th event at Whiteys you will be entered into an additional drawing for $50,000.  For SNOWMANIA to go live we need "6 inches of newly fallen snow accumulation falling  between the 10:00 AM Jan. 31, 2014 and 10:00 AM February 1, 2014.  To recap – for every 5 tickets that someone buys they get entered into an additional drawing where they could win $50,000 if it snows 6 inches in the 24 hours prior to the event!  This winner will be drawn on the 17th at the Whiteys event so they have the chance to pray for at least 6 inches of snow and get excited!!  We are also looking for more Corporate Sponsors so please let us know if we can help facilitate and ask with your company or a company you think might be interested.  Thanks in advance for all of your hard work and participation this is truly an event that only happens because of the amazing group of Rotarian's we have!!
