The Akron Rotary Foundation provides funding to finance activities that benefit youth and children with special needs, particularly when they are not otherwise being met; as well as other projects sanctioned by the Rotary Club of
-
The Rotary Camp for Children of Special Needs;
-
Barrett Academy;
-
Scholarships for Akron high school students;
-
Rotary Exchange Students;
The "Planned Giving Program" provides an alternative channel of donation through planned giving. Some frequently used formats include, but not limit to, assigning Akron Rotary Foundation as:
* Bequest / Codicil to Will; or
* Beneficiary Designation in Life Insurance Policy; or
* Beneficiary Designation in IRA or Keogh Plan, etc.
This program provides to donors the benefit of no economic impact on their current finance status.
In case of need, the Foundation will assist in securing legal services in setting up the bequest or codicil or other legal documents necessary.
