Building a successful future through Rotary Are you an Interact club member turning 18 this year, a Rotaractor graduating from university, or a Rotary alumnus starting a new job? Continue your Rotary journey as you travel, further your education, or begin your career. Graduating Interactors can connect with leadership opportunities in a university or community-based Rotaract club. Rotaractors can discover RYLAand develop language and professional skills through New Generations Service Exchange. Alumni can network with professionals in a Rotary club or give back to the community through a Rotary Community Corps. As a Rotarian, you can empower young leaders to reach their full potential. Recognize outstanding service, provide a scholarship to promising students, or invite young professionals to connect with Rotary in new ways. Helping homeless kids rewrite their future Rotarians in San Diego are building a brighter future for homeless students at a one-of-a-kind school. The Monarch School does more than give kids a place to learn — it gives them a chance to change their future. Recognizing that drugs, crime, and poverty could easily destroy the future for these at-risk kids, Rotarians stepped in to provide a safe place for them to learn and grow. The state-of-the-art facility provides students with clothing, health care, counseling, and career training. And their families can get transit passes, translation services, and parent coaching. Connect with volunteers, partners, and donors for your community improvement project by posting it on Rotary Ideas. |
