The territorial limits of the Rotary Club of Akron is the City of Akron, Ohio.

The object is to encourage and foster the ideal of service, high ethical standards, and international understanding, good will, and peace.

Rotary is a not-for-profit organization of business and professional men and women united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

The Rotary Club of Akron is a part of Rotary International District 6630, which is comprised of 53 Rotary Clubs in Northeast Ohio with over 1,900 District Members. 

The Rotary Club of Akron is dedicated to the many service projects locally and abroad.  The Club reaches out to youths who are in need of support and guidance through projects such as the foreign exchange student programs, youth scholarships, drug awareness seminars and more.  The Club supports and partners with organizations on projects for the betterment of the community including The Rotary Camp for Children with Special Needs.
