The Akron Rotary Foundation along with the Rotary Club of Akron were delighted to present 15 Akron Public Schools students each a $1,000.00 scholarship to further their educational journeys. Dr. William Visco, PhD with The University of Akron was our keynote speaker. President-Elect Katy Miller was on hand to present the certificates to the students and offer heartfelt congratulations from our President, Nathanael Billow, and our entire club. Additional thanks to Julie Brandle for her thoughtful invocation and scholarship presenters Aimee R. Wade, Amber Genet Barkoukis, Susan Colville-Hall, and Terry Dalton, who has also chaired the club scholarship committee for 18 years!
